Document imaging and management vendor Hyland Software Inc. has acquired rival eWebHealth for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition increases Hyland presence in the health care market and brings enhanced expertise in the areas of coding and revenue cycle workflow solutions, according to the companies. Reading, Mass-based eWebHealth serves nearly 100 small and mid-size hospitals.
Westlake, Ohio-based Hyland announced the acquisition at the HIMSS 2010 Conference in Atlanta.
